The Lone Oak Wedding Farm is an extension of the Lone Oak Sunflower Farm, they are one in the same. Traditionally, since 2021, we have hosted weddings during sunflower season; however, the short season posed challenges in coordinating wedding dates with the blooming period of the sunflowers.  We wanted to add the word wedding to a Facebook page and to our google listing to rank us higher in search engines for people searching for weddings.  Any paperwork you receive for your wedding will have the name The Lone Oak Sunflower Farm on it because that is who we are. 

In 2023, our farm experienced a significant rainstorm that resulted in extensive flooding, damaging a substantial number of our sunflowers and a large portion of our corn maze. Consequently, the grounds were left in a condition that prevented us from opening the sunflower portion of the farm or hosting our Family Farm Days at all.  We were only able to open our corn maze for a few days.

In 2024, we made the decision to take a season off from Sunflowers and focus solely on expanding our weddings into a year round affordable option. 

We are conveniently located just 15 minutes southwest of Detroit Metro Airport and in the charming town of New Boston, Michigan. Our farm is an ideal setting for your special day.

We cater to a variety of wedding styles, including elopements, vow renewals, and traditional weddings, accommodating up to 60 guests. 

Our turnkey wedding packages include an officiant to write and perform your ceremony and a sound system for you to control with your chosen music.
